Lou Hutto, BA, Intern

As a Licensed Professional Counseling intern, my goal is to support future clients by creating a safe, caring, and respectful space to work through life’s challenges. I believe when human beings feel heard and understood, they are empowered to pursue the meaningful changes they seek in their lives.
I am particularly drawn to supporting veterans and first responders. I recognize the unique challenges they face and the sacrifices their families make in the service of others. My commitment is driven by a desire to help support them with the understanding and tools they need to navigate their experiences, heal from trauma, and enhance their overall well-being. My motivation stems from a deep commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and to helping them find effective strategies to process their experiences and move forward.
In my leisure time, I enjoy live music, exploring the mountains with my family, hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, and archery.
