Cristina Arballo, Intern (She/her/ella)

Have you ever allowed yourself to discuss whatever thoughts, dreams, memories, or words came to mind without censorship in a judgment-free, safe space? Talking without censorship allows us to go on a deep-dive exploration of what is truly affecting us in both our conscious and unconscious lives. Learning to listen to ourselves can be healing, empowering, and build resilience to cope with life’s challenges.

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural counseling student intern with a focus on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapies for adults, adolescents, and children from diverse backgrounds. As a first-generation Latina counselor in formation, I foster a culturally relevant, judgment-free, and safe space in which self-compassion and radical self-love are the guiding principles toward healing within therapy. I am LGBTQ-friendly/sensitive.

When not working, I enjoy going to concerts, playing disc golf, swimming, and exploring the beautiful and colorful state of Colorado.
