Looking to get support from a therapist is a brave and courageous decision, and I’m so grateful that you’ve taken the step to begin asking for help. Life is hard, and a lot of people get the notion that they need to tough it out on their own. Some believe that asking for help means you are not strong enough or that needing help means there is something wrong with you. That’s not how I see it. To me, asking for help is one of the strongest things a person can do. I offer counseling for individuals, families, and couples who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives.
I approach my clients with warmth and compassion, and seek to understand where they are stuck, what is important to them, and how they want their lives to change. I then offer strategies and techniques to navigate life’s challenges using evidenced-based approaches. I work with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.
